| Laboratory automation and robotics, workstation-based automation products for use in the research and analytical laboratory environment. The Zymate Robotics System uses a modular structure of robotics, programmable computers and peripheral instruments; this underlying architecture permits expansion of capabilities without obsolescence. A Zymate System can be configured to use existing manual lab stations as well as automated stations made by others (such as electronic balances, automated titrators or spectrophotometers). Upgrades can be retrofitted into existing systems and multiple robots can be used to expand the work envelope and throughput.
