| EDAX Inc. is a manufacturer of EDS and XRF systems. Instrumentation for EDS Microanalysis, EDXRF Microanalysis- The Phoenix, energy dispersive system, digital pulse processor based, microanalysis system for SEM and TEM. The Eagle ґ-Probe, a microfluorescence EDXRF system using glass capillaries. EDXRF Bulk Analysis- The DX-95 Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometry System. Sapphire energy dispersive detectors, demonstrating the ultimate in light element sensitivity, resolution and reliability. Also TSL (TexSEM Laboratories, Inc.) EBSD systems for microstructural characterization of polycrystalline materials, including metals, ceramics, semiconductors, superconductors and composites. Monitors Pyrometallurgical Process- The EDAX Waste Fume Analyzer (WFA) enables dynamic monitoring of changes in metallic content of fumes present in the waste duct of pyrometallurgical processes for optimizing BOF steel making on-line. The analyzer measures the intensities of the selected elements and transmits element specific data to the plant computer. Adding fume flow rafe data, the Analyzer directly measures the effects of changing waste fume concentrations, with the ultimate objectives of: Reducing fume losses and minimizing waste, Optimizing converter processes and practice, Increasing the efficiency of the waste-gas cleaning system, Reducing levels of emissions to the atmosphere. EDAX Portable Products Division develops and manufacturers Field Portable (handheld) XRF instruments for environmental, mineral and alloy sorting applications. |
