| New Brunswick Scientific is committed to the design, development, manufacture and marketing of the highest quality equipment, instrumentation and software for the life sciences. NBS products, for use in research through production, include biological and combinatorial-chemistry shakers, fermentors, mammalian cell bioreactors, biological air samplers, and automated media preparation equipment. Although best known for the legendary durability of the "New Brunswick Shaker" NBS also sells and supports a diverse line of standard and custom-designed cGMP-compliant fermentors and cell culture bioreactors in benchtop to 10,000 Liter capacities. Process control software and hardware and a range of continuous-flow centrifuges complement these systems. New products include shakers for combinatorial chemistry, a validatable pilot-scale fermentor that can be easily customized with over a hundred standard options, as well as a powerful touch-screen controller that enables users to add new control loops in minutes without additional hardware, software or cost. Additionally, DGI BioTechnologies, the majority-owned drug lead discovery operation has developed a proprietary process that offers pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies an improved method of identifying novel, small molecule, orally available drug leads. |
