| FMS manufactures Automated Sample Preparation Products for automation of the environmental and pharmaceutical laboratories: Power-Prep Sample Preparation System- High speed Automated Sample Clean-up System for Dioxins, PCBs and Pesticide Analysis. Dioxin-Prep Sample Clean-up System- Automated Sample Clean-up System for Dioxins Analysis. GPC-Prep Sample Clean-up System- Automated system for performing EPA Sample Clean-up Methods SW-846. The Power-Prep is the computer controlled liquid chromatography system performs simultaneous sample processing, designed to automate the extraction and cleanup of toxic compounds such as Dioxins, PCBs, Pesticides, and PAHs from environmental, biological and food samples. Processes from 1 to 10 samples in less than 1 hour. A one sample PowerPrep system can be expanded up to a 10 sample configuration. The system performs the entire extraction and cleanup automatically including sample loading, washing, elution and fraction collection. It uses disposable columns from teflon, pre packed wiht multi layer silica, alumina, and carbon. FMS’s monitoring and control software includes functions to develop and optimize methods. The GPC-Prep system is a low cost automated Gel Permeation Chromatography System. It uses glass or teflon columns packed with SDVB resin beads, and can process from 1 to 30 samples sequentially. Options included different types of columns, a fraction collector and UV detector. The GPC-Prep System can automate pesticide sample cleanup procedures specified by the US EPA and FDA methods. The modularity and expansion features of the GPC-Prep allow the user to expand the system for use in other applications such as the separation of Dioxins and PCBs from environmental and biological samples. The multi-column configuration (SPE option) allows automation of applications which require silica gel, alumina, florisil, C18 columns and other cartridges. The Dioxin-Prep sample Clean-Up System automates procedures of the isolation of PCDDs, PCDFs and PCBs from sample extracts. The system performs the entire sample cleanup automatically, including sample loading, washing elution and fraction collection. Using a combination of multi-layer silica, alumina, and carbon columns, the Dioxin-Prep sample Clean-Up system performs the entire column chromatography procedure in one hour and achieves high recoveries for all analytes. This modular clean-up system design allows multiple sample to be processed either sequentially or in parallel. In the sequential configuration, the Dioxin-Prep Processes 5 sample sequentially. In the parallel mode, it processes multiple sample simultaneously, allowing very high speed sample processing. |
