The Duratech Infrared Analyzer (DTIR), is a single wavelength IR analyzer. It utilizes a pulsed infrared source that eliminates the need for a chopper motor. Duratech Finish Analyzer (DFA)- The DFA is used on the synthetic fiber industry to monitor the level of finish oils applied to the fiber. The DFA is recognized world-wide as a fast primary test method. It uses a solvent to extract the finish oils, and the Duratech DTIR Infrared Analyzer to determine the concentration. The TCA Duratech Finish Analyzer- The TCA was developed to replace the DFA in some instances. The TCA uses hot distilled water as a solvent, and a Duratech Total Carbon Analyzer Model TC9300 to determine the concentration of the sample. High Temperature Total Carbon Analyzer- Uses a high temperature furnace (programmable to 900°C) and an infrared CO2 detector to measure the total carbon content of aqueous solutions. |
