| Equipment for production scale liquid chromatography and preparative separations using turbulent flow chromatography. In Turbulent Flow Chromatography, the mobile phase is delivered at flow rates which are considerably higher than flow rates used in laminar flow chromatography. The major benefit of turbulent flow chromatography is that it can achieve the same efficiency as laminar flow chromatography, at dramatically higher speeds. This leads to a significant decrease in the time required for a separation where productivity can be readily increased. The TurboFlow 2100 Process System is used to rapidly separate complex mixtures to isolate various fractions. The system is designed to increase productivity by processing samples in a shorter period of time than traditional separation methods using turbulent flow chromatography. |
