Quantel specialized from the outset in solid state laser technology and on lasers emitting light pulses of very high instantaneous peak power. Quantel offers the scientific community pulsed lasers with high peak power. These sources of light give pulses which last for a few picoseconds, nanoseconds or microseconds depending on their operational mode: mode-locked, Q-switched or free-running. Depending on the application, these lasers can generate infrared light or can be equipped with harmonic generators emitting visible or ultraviolet light. They can also be coupled with other light sources, such as OPOs or dye lasers, which can then be wavelength tuned. |
