JEOL Ltd. is the manufacture, sale and service of Electron Microscopes, such as SEMs and TEMs, and various types of analytical instruments including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrometers (NMR) and Electron Spin Resonance Spectrometers (ESR), Mass Spectrometers (MS). Mass Spectrometry Instrumentation - JEOL manufactures a wide range of magnetic sector mass spectrometers ranging from small benchtop double-focusing magnetic sector mass spectrometers to larger tandem and hybrid mass spectrometers. Fast scan speeds, high resolution and linked-scan MS/MS are available for all mass spectrometers. Mass Spectrometers: The JMS-700 (MStation) Mass Spectrometer - A fully computer-controlled high-performance mass spectrometer incorporating auto-tuning functions for various parameters including those of the ion source. It provides high-quality analysis results not only in routine measurement, but also in research work. Resolution: 60,000 MIKES measurement is also possible by the employment of reverse ion optics (collision chamber for MIKES is an option). The JMS-700D Mass Spectrometer for Analyzing Dioxin - This mass spectrometer has realized high sensitivity as a dedicated high resolution SIM instrument. It is particularly suitable for long-period unmanned analysis of dioxins, and has new functions that ensure stable sensitivity and high resolution. Guaranteed sensitivity is 2, 3, 7, 8-TCDD 30fg S/N>30. Resolution: 60,000 (10 % valley). The JMS-700QQ Mass Spectrometer - A fully computer controlled hybrid tandem mass spectrometer system. MS/MS interface operation and collision gas introduction into MS2 (quadrupole MS) are all fully computer controlled. MS2 resolution: 1,000 (FWHM) MS2 mass range: 2,000. The JMS-700T Tandem Mass Spectrometer - A fully computer controlled 4-sector tandem MS system provided with the highest performance and ease of operation. Collision energy: 0 to 10 keV, MS2 resolution: 20,000 (precursor). The JMS-600 (MSroute) Mass Spectrometer - An easy-to-operate mass spectrometer having a virtual image 3-D double focusing ion optical system and a PC-based data system. Resolution: 25,000 (10% valley). The JMS-LCmate LC-MS System - A desk-top routine analysis LC MS system equipped with an LC-dedicated ion source and a mass spectrometer having a much smaller capacity than conventional models. This system can be equipped with two types of atmospheric ion sources, the APCI (Atmospheric Pressure Chemical Ionization), provided as standard, and the ESI (Electro-spray Ionization), provided as an option, and with JEOL's unique Frit-FAB (Fast Atom Bombardment) ion source, which is effectively used for high-sensitivity analysis of polar compounds. The JMS-LCmate is thus available for analysis of a wide range of polar and nonpolar compounds, such as peptide and protein handled typically in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, metabolites, and pesticides. The JMS-GCmateII GC-MS System - Designed and developed especially for fully automated routine analysis. The analysis system, based on a small-sized unique double-focusing ion optics, provides compatibility between exact mass measurement and operational simplicity. The GCmate provides a visual, high-speed, user-friendly operating environment by employing the most advanced OS (MS-Windows). All operations are computer controlled, allowing ion source /resolution setting, tuning, measurement, and data printout to be carried out automatically. The GCmate allows exact mass measurement that fully utilizes the features of the sector-type MS, and also measurements by the linked scan method (option) and FAB ionization (option) with ease. The JMS-PLASMAX2 ICP High-Resolution Mass Spectrometer - This high-resolution ICP mass spectrometer is provided with a resolution of better than 12,000 (10 % valley) which is necessary for inorganic analysis. It allows analysis of light elements overlapping the Ar ion, etc., which has been difficult by conventional ICP quadrupole mass spectrometers. |
