Is a manufacturer of Rheological and Thermal Analysis Instrumentation. Rheometrics designs, manufactures, markets, sells, and services four types of materials characterization instruments: rheometers, viscometers, thermal analyzers, and process control monitors, along with an advanced operational and analysis software. The applications are diverse, ranging from studying the texture and flow of foods to measuring the stiffness and stability of high-strength composites. Besides making and selling rheometers and viscometers for laboratory use, Rheometric Scientific offers rheometers for in-line process control of plastics and foods ( Process Control Rheometer and Advanced Capillary Extrusion Rheometer). The spectrum of measurement technologies offered by Rheometric Scientific includes: Viscometry, On-Line Viscometry, Thermomechanical Analysis, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Dielectric Analysis, Thermogravimetry, Capillary Rheometry, Electro and Optical Rheometry, Shear and Extensional Rheometry. Products: Stress Rheometer, Dynamic Stress Rheometer and the Advanced Rheometric Expansion System (ARES), Elongational Melts Rheometer (RME). Thermal analysis instruments including the Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer DMTA IV, the Differential Scanning Calorimeter DSC, Thermogravimetric Analyzer TGA, and the Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer STA. Minimat 2000 Miniature Materials Tester- The Minimat 2000 is a versatile miniature materials tester capable of testing in tension, compression, and three-point bending. Stress-strain, creep, and stress relaxation tests can be run. It is mountable on a microscope stage, allowing processes such as fracture to be observed, photographed, and video recorded during tests. Three force ranges (0.02-20 N, 0.2-200 N, 1-1000 N) enable tests to be run on materials ranging from single fibers to composite bars. An environmental chamber provides temperature and atmospheric control at temperatures ranging from ambient to 200°C. Some typical materials tested on the Minimat 2000 are fibers, films, rubber, and composites. |
