| Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. (BAS) is a manufacturer of specialized instrumentation and accessories for liquid chromatography, in vivo sampling (microdialysis and ultrafiltration), and electrochemistry. Gradient and isocratic liquid chromatographs and accessories: Chromatography Systems, ChromGraph Chromatography Data Acquisition and Control Software, Electrochemical Detectors, Optical Detectors (Flourescence, UV), Pumps, Refrigerated Autosampler, Column Temperature Controllers, UniJet Microbore Columns. PM-80 Solvent Delivery System- Both isocratic and ternary gradient models are available. Both versions feature flow rate accuracy and precision. Both operate at either analytical or microbore flow rates. A low flow setting is switch-selectable on the front panel, shifting the PM-80 from normal flow ranges (0 - 5 mL/min) to microbore ranges (0 - 0.5 mL/min). Alternatively, an optional flow splitter allows microbore operation at conventional flow rates. LC-4C Amperometric Detector- Unlike other electrochemical detectors, each LC-4C has the ability to control two working electrodes in the same cell (one channel becomes the generator electrode, while the other is the detector electrode). BioTrap- Online extraction columns for LC and LC/MS. The new BioTrap system of online drug extraction for liquid chromatography and LC/MS- BioTrap is a small chromatography column which extracts hydrophobic drugs, including drugs that are strongly protein-bound, from biological samples. The intent is to inject the plasma directly into an injection valve on the LC system. The BioTrap is mounted within the injection loop of this valve. BioTrap is coated with AGP which does not absorb protein and therefore extends the cartridge life.
